Having my own home office has been on my wishlist ever since I started blogging back in 2010. I'm not a full time blogger, but I always wanted one because I know having a work space separate from my bedroom, will make me more productive in things I want to achieve and so one day my home office will be the only place I will have the pleasure working from. cross your fingers.

The office is not nearly finished, but I'm taking it slowly and surely. Last week I did a makeover on basic silver Ikea lamp, that was too industrial and not pretty at all, and the vintage mirror that was a part of an old closet. The gold really makes such a big difference! I love how small pops of gold can light up the room.

So, the first thing I did, was the mirror. I bought a paint that was supposed to be gold, but it turned out more green-ish than gold, as you can see in the picture. That was for sure upsetting since I now have full container of "gold" paint I will probably never use.
The second, and by far best, option was the acrilic spray in gold that was waaaay cheaper than paint and much, much easier and quicker to use! The colour turned out perfectly!
So if you're ever thinking of re-painting, think of spray first. Thank me later.

I already enjoy spending time in this room, and I can't wait to finish it! I'll show you the final result once is done! You can follow all the things I do on my snapchat (evesbreeze) or Instagram if you are interested! :)

The one on the left is the gold paint I tried first. Not at all what I wanted. The one on the right is the final one. So pretty! :)

The pretty lamp that was so boring in silver! Now it's so CHIC! :D

And this is the new floor. Loving the colour.
And very photogenic, as you can see.. :p

This years masquerade is just around the corner, and I still haven't completely decided on what to dress up as!! I've got a few ideas, but so little time and I'm really torn. I did take a minute of my time this morning and went through old pictures from carnival partys. I really hope no one will ever see the whole albums, because the pictures are HILARIOUS! In both good and bad way. We had sooo much fun tho! I remember every single masquerade and it was so good every. damn. time! I've got such nice memories of carnivals and going from house to house with my friends from when we were little and I don't think I'll ever stop loving the masquerade!
I love dressing up as someone else, abnormal quantity donuts I eat on those two days and I just can't wait for new cool memories of masquerade 2016!! :))

I was everything from an angel to burlesque, and here are some pictures of my previous costumes! Last year I was The cat in the hat on Saturday, and a pineapple on Tuesday! Ahh the memories..

What are you dressing up as this year? Do you celebrate masquerade at all? :)
